Child Declared Trauma Alert After Being Struck by Car in Collier County 🚨

COLLIER COUNTY, Fla. — A 9-year-old child was declared a “Trauma Alert” Thursday evening after being struck by a car at the intersection of Radio Road and Madison Park Boulevard.

According to Fire/EMS radio traffic, emergency crews responded to the scene at 5:49 PM and found the child on the ground. Due to the patient’s age and the severity of the injuries, responders immediately declared a Trauma Alert.

The child was airlifted by LeeFlight to Gulf Coast Medical Center for treatment. Authorities reported that the driver involved in the crash was not injured.

Currently, one lane of Radio Road remains closed as crews continue to manage the scene. The F H P is investigating the incident.

No additional details about the child’s condition have been released at this time.
